Dark purple colour with violet hue and almost black core. Very appealing nose with ripe fruit, blackcurrants and dark berries, hints of blackcurrant spurs, subtle oak and fine toasting. On the palate well structured and mature tannins, fine acidity, juicy fruit quoting the nose, blackcurrant spurs, hints of dark chocolate and vanilla as well as gingerbread spices in the background. Very convincing length.
