Dark purple colour with violet hue and black core. Densely woven nose with rich character, spicy nose with incense and oriental spices, backed by sweet plums and blackberries. Aromatic toasting and hints of chocolate in the background. On the palate well structured with ripe tannins, fine acidity, excellent fruit and very convincing length, multi layered spiciness in the aftertaste. An excellent wine, arguably the best Lafleur-Gazin ever tasted en primeur.
