Pedesclaux CC - 56% Cabernet Sauvignon, 37% Merlot, 4% Petit Verdot and 3% Cabernet Franc. Dense dark berries on the nose, luscious fruit and fine tannin on the palate, strong backbone, persistent aftertaste. Splendid wine represents its district quite well. 92p (92p).

Ruby. Blueberries, anise, spices, dark fruity nose. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, blueberries, anise, spices, dark fruity, long if narrower finish. 89-91

Dark purple red with violet hue and almost black core. Closed nose with slightly closed character, restrained fruit reminiscent of blackcurrants and hints of ripe plums. Discreet spiciness in the background. On the palate well balanced with ripe berries, mild spices and quite juicy fruit, elegant finish with good length.
