Light ruby red color. A rich and charmingly perfumey nose shows scent of a flowers with delicious mint chocolate aromas, some toastiness, and red berries. The palate is light-bodied with supple mouthfeel and ripe sweet red berries. No tannins. The herbaceous minty flavor combines with the warm, round mouthfeel of the wine. Spicy sweet and warming round finish with flavours of mint and clove. All in all, an excellent wine for its price. At its best in 2022-2025. If served now, decant for five hours and serve 15-16C together with smoked salmon and morrel creme or Saltimbocca alla Romana. JL 88p (3/2020)
