A refined and expressive Meursault, the 2022 Les Charmes offers an inviting aromatic profile of ripe pear, yellow apple and white peach, layered with notes of acacia blossom, hazelnut and subtle vanilla. A touch of flint and warm brioche adds depth and complexity.
On the palate, the wine is medium to full-bodied, supple and well-balanced. Generous stone fruit and citrus flavours are supported by a creamy texture, yet lifted by fresh acidity that brings clarity and precision. The oak is finely integrated, enhancing structure without masking the purity of the fruit.
The finish is long, elegant and gently mineral, leaving impressions of orchard fruit, soft spice and chalky nuance. A poised and harmonious Premier Cru Meursault with excellent ageing potential.
