A classic and tightly wound expression of Meursault, the 2020 Perrières is defined by its tension, minerality and precision. The nose is restrained and complex, showing citrus zest, green apple and white peach, complemented by notes of crushed stone, almond and subtle smoky reduction.
On the palate, it is medium-bodied and incisive, with a firm, linear structure. Bright citrus and orchard fruit are carried by vibrant acidity and a pronounced stony minerality, giving the wine energy and drive rather than overt richness. The texture is fine and chalky, with oak playing a discreet, supporting role.
The finish is long, saline and mineral-driven, leaving a lasting impression of purity and focus. A serious, age-worthy Perrières that rewards patience and careful cellaring.
