Fourrier
Griotte-Chambertin 2005
Excellent nose with fine, pure and ripe wild dark fruit, with layers of spice and herbs. Structured and very serious nose that starts to show a bit of development with mushrooms and sous bois but nothing that takes away from the superb fruit.
Sweet and ripe on the attack with dark, wild berry fruit that turns seamlessly into a more mineral driven and very focused mid-palate and ends on a more fruity note that ads a ripe sweet touch. Very focused and balanced, superb today but needs plenty of time to open up more.
