Other than a discreet application of wood, this is aromatically all but mute though the nose does appear to be ripe. There is better density and power here than I found in the Bâtard with fine intensity to the large-scaled flavors that deliver excellent depth and length on the notably dry finish. That said, this is essentially a Montrachet of finesse rather than sheer size and weight.
