Written Notes

Bright, deep red-ruby. Wonderfully mellow and complex on the nose, offering everything from fresh dark fruits to chocolate, red licorice, flowers and graphite minerality. Pure liquid silk in the mouth; at once sharply delineated and edge-free thanks to superb harmonious acidity, possessing a fantastic tight core of juicy fruit. This very dry, classic Howell Mountain Cabernet finishes with serious dusty but sweet tannins and will still improve. Stunning wine.

Good looking normal size bottle. Colour is ruby red, and looking dark and deep. On the nose it is open, intense, wide, complex, refined, seductive and charming. The taste is round, harmonious, focused, ripe, elegant, fragrant, vivid, refined, and dry, with silky tannins, and average in acidity, full-bodied, with perfectly balanced, well-structured, well-integrated, good texture structure and developing. On the palate it is layered and has mint, blackcurrant, toasty, perfumed and coffee flavours. The finish is long, flavorful, lingering, vibrant and round. This wine is sophisticated, impressive and excellent. Perfectly stored bottles are still very worthy and will last well for another 1-5 years and decant at least 1t before tasting.
