The Story
Petraea champagne is created using a method similar to that of the Solera. Each year, the previous year's wine is added in the proportion of 25%. This means that the wine contains some of all the earlier vintages in decreasing proportions. This perpetual reserve was started in 1997.

The next most exceptional vintage since 2008. A truly difficult growing season saw severe frosts in the winter. March brought warmth but early budbreak made the vines vulnerable to spring frosts.
