Viognier 2022 ($40) – A fine local example of Viognier from the Granite Belt, this is more from the textural/complex end of the spectrum, rather than the exuberant fruit sector. Deep straw, there are certainly pleasing notes of apricots, lemongrass and ginger. A fine minerally backing and hints of dried herbs. There is a fine line of acidity. This is fresh with good energy, persistent and well balanced. Enjoy over the next three to four years. 92.
