AUSTRALIA VINTAGE REPORT: The 2017 winegrape crush is estimated to be 1.93 million tonnes, based on responses received by the Wine Sector Survey 2017. This crush is 5 per cent higher than the 2016 final crush figure of 1.84 million tonnes (Department of Agriculture and Water Resources – Levies recorded figure). Good looking normal size bottle. Colour is ruby red, purple and deep. On the nose it is open, youthful, intense, fresh, ripe, generous and round. The taste is fresh, round,voluptuous, fruity, elegant, fragrant,robust, with silky tannins, and average in acidity, medium-bodied, with balanced, well-structured, well-integrated,satin texture structure and youthful. On the palate it is layered and has mint, cassis, perfumed, floral, spice and raspberry flavours. The finish is long, lingering, flavorful and spicy.
