Brunello di Montalcino DOCG Madonna delle Grazie 2019

Powerful and decidedly terse and transparent in its territorial interpretation, it displays a profile of great oenological depth, the child of wisdom and knowledge fused with calm execution. Notes of black plums and blackberries describe the main solid and dense “core” to which are added notes of lavender, hibiscus, lime peel, bergamot, sandalwood, patchouli and karkadè attracted like a magnet. Full-bodied, muscular tannins firm and taut and a splendidly tense finish that gives mordance and character in the memory of a rare vineyard decidedly interpreted in minute detail in the 2019 vintage. Better from 2025.

Alessandro Mori’s Brunello, which resembles, in the best possible sense, only himself. Hints of cranberry jam, with touches of marjoram and star anise at the nose. The taste is dense-brackish, with a return of freshness and balsamic. Great persistence, a spicy finish.110p
