<10 tasting notes
Interesting Riesling. As we mainly drink classic Riesling from Germany, Austria, or Clare Valley (Australia), so in the beginning, I was confused with this wine. The wine is dry, rich in the palate with a 14% alc, and good fruit mix acidity (med+). In the nose Ripe Apple, Peach, Citrus fruit (Lime, Lemon), Pineapple, and floral notes (acacia). The wine is more dominated with secondary flavor (white paper, dried apricot, and resinous), etc. The wine has a back palate of a bitter taste. Very good presence of minerality (wet stone).
I liked this new approach of Riesling. A very good food-friendly wine. As I am new to this wine so I want to see other Riesling from that region. The wine has an ample amount of acidity and structured fruit that shows a very good possibility of aging.
