The Story

Le Domaine d'Henri is a small wine-house owned by Michel Laroche and his family in the Chablis area. The house owns only 8 hectares of pots divided into two growth categories; Chablis (3.5 hectares) and Chablis Premier Cru Fourchaume (4.5 hectares). The first vintage of the house was 2012 and the focus is on organic farming. Michel Laroche is known for its prominent, important wine cellar with its vineyards in Chablis, Languedoc, South Africa and Chile. The Laroche House was united in 2010 with South France's JeanJean, forming AdVini, one of France's most prominent wine producers. Laroche is still in the company's board but has withdrawn from his daily work and now uses his time to develop Le Domaine d'Henri together with his family.

Origin: The grapes have been collected from different slopes, from the slopes of the prestigious Fourchaume Premier Cru. The vines are planted in 1964 and 1999.

Winemaking: Fermentation and maturation 12 months in steel tanks (89%) and partly in oak barrels (11%)
