Selected from a parcel of 3.71 acres with southern exposure in Bué in Champtin.
Soils
Calcareous clay soils.
Vinification
The fruit is sorted thoroughly before being put in stainless steel tanks. The juice macerates in thermoregulation tank. At the end of alcoholic fermentation the wine is transferred to barrel for a few months ageing before being bottled.
Character
Generous and supple, this Red Sancerre opens with time and releases all the smoothness and the elegance of Pinot Noir. A slow evolution enables it to reach its best after a few years.
