A beautifully balanced and refined Bordeaux-inspired blend from Peter Michael, the 2021 L’Esprit des Pavots combines elegance with depth. Aromas of blackcurrant, plum, and blackberry are complemented by hints of graphite, violet, cedar, and subtle spice. The palate is medium-to-full-bodied with fine-grained tannins, vibrant acidity, and seamless integration of oak. The finish is long and polished, marked by savory minerality and layered dark fruit. Elegant, structured, and age-worthy.
