Sauvignon Blanc 2021

Produced in small quantities from a dedicated small parcel of old-vine Sauvignon Blanc on the estate's Oakville benchland, the 2021 release is a tour de force of mineral drive and textural sophistication. The 2021 drought-influenced vintage yielded tiny, ultra-concentrated berries that provided exceptional structural focus.

The nose is intensely aromatic and refined, soaring with white peach, lemongrass, green mango, and kaffir lime leaf, interwoven with wet limestone, white jasmine flowers, and a faint hint of lightly toasted brioche. On the palate, the entry is dynamic and electric. A concentrated core of citrus oil and stone fruit expands with remarkable precision, framed by a piercing, mouthwatering spine of natural acidity. Aged thoughtfully in a mix of new and used French oak as well as stainless steel, it possesses a silky, lightly creamy mid-palate weight that never compromises its vibrant agility. The finish is endless, bone-dry, and intensely saline, lingering on notes of crushed flint, lime zest, and subtle white pepper.
