Written Notes

A wild, jammy and extensive wine. Only the long ending turned a bit too volatile and austere for me leaving disturbingly unbalanced taste when first tasted (87p). After six hours decanting and serving it well chilled (14°C) it showed less overwhelming and volatile gaining few more points more. A wine that prefers some game – grilled elk tenderloin with cranberry sauce and rosemary flavoured roasted root vegetables.
