Written Notes

Intense purple colour with violet hue and black core. Expressive nose with aroma reminiscent of ripe mulberries, juicy plums and black cherries, complemented by white pepper and violets and slightly smoky hints. Opulent yet elegant on the palate with quoting the flavour of the nose, great length and finesse. Toro at its best.

Good looking normal size bottle. Colour is purple, and looking clear, dark and deep. On the nose it is intense, mature, rich and opulent. The taste is fruity, full, ripe, toasty, and dry, warming, with high tannin, with sweet tannins, and average in acidity, full-bodied, with concentrated structure and developing. On the palate it is layered and has toasty, chocolate, new-oak and vanilla flavours. The finish is long and extensive. This wine is fine. I paid around 30-50€ a bottle. Perfectly stored bottles are still very worthy and will last well for another 10-15 years. Good value for money. I do recommend.
