Wine Information
The 2007 growing season began with a dry, warm winter and spring, resulting in early budbreak, bloom and grape set. Low soil moisture curtailed foliage growth, ensuring the grape clusters enjoyed ample sunshine during a mild summer in which temperatures rarely reached 90 degrees. The cooler-than-normal weather fostered slow, even ripening, a relaxed, well-paced harvest, and wines with deeply concentrated, expressive flavors.
