A refined and mineral-driven Riesling from one of the Saar’s notable producers, the 2021 vintage shows classic slate character with clarity and poise. The bouquet offers crisp green apple, lime zest and white peach, layered with pronounced smoky slate minerality and delicate floral notes. A hint of petrol and wet stone adds complexity without overpowering the fruit.
On the palate, it is light to medium-bodied with vibrant acidity and a taut, linear structure. Citrus and orchard fruit flavours are lifted by pronounced flinty minerality, giving the wine tension and energy. The texture is crisp yet silky, carrying a fine concentration that suggests both freshness and depth.
The finish is long, pure and dry, marked by persistent mineral notes, citrus peel and subtle spice. A focused and elegant Riesling with classic Saar terroir expression and excellent ageing potential.
