This intriguing variety continues to impress. This example is from the Central Ranges in New South Wales and made in an organic style. The colour is a shimmering pale yellow, while the nose opens up with aromas of ripe stone fruits, apricot kernels, spices, almonds, sea breeze notes and a hint of beeswax. The wine is balanced, supple and exhibiting very good length with a fine line of acidity. Really impressive, this will drink beautifully over the next two to four years. Excellent value.
