From the vineyard of Roccolo di Mizzole, village of Mizzole, in northeastern Verona.

Corvina 60%, Corvinone 25%, Rondinella 10%, Croatina 5%
WINEMAKING
The grapes are pressed, then left to macerate on the skins for 8-10 hours at 10°C. During fermentation carried out at controlled temperature for 10-12 days, the must undergoes frequent remontages to favor extraction. After malolactic fermentation, it is transferred to oak barriques where it ages for 12 months before being assembled and bottled. Fining in bottle for 6-7 months.
STYLE
Ruby-red color, this wine offers intense aromas of wild cherries, underbush and hints of toasting. A rich, full-bodied wine, round and warm on the palate.
FOOD PAIRINGS
Great to accompany main courses typical of the Veneto region, such as risotto with porcini mushrooms or radicchio, red meat stews and mature cheeses. To be served at 16°-18°C.
