This deep yellow champagne with golden highlights has abundant beads of tiny bubbles. The expressive nose is structured around ripe pear and quince notes as well as fruit jellies.
With aeration, toasty notes appear on the scene before making way for menthol and spicy notes with ginger, cinnamon and anise.

A warm and wet winter was followed by an equally wet spring. First, in May, came the seri- ous heat, which gave a fast owering around June 14. Chlorosis and mold growth were evi- dent.
