Written Notes

Tasted both in April 2024 and September 2024 with the identical impression. 58% Cabernet Sauvignon, 34% Merlot, 4% Cabernet Franc and 4% Petit Verdot. It shows tenderness, elegance, and finesse in 2023, contrary to its normally tight, intense, and concentrated appearance like f.i. in 2022 or 2020 vintages. But don't be fooled; there is an underlying solid backbone, many layers, a great mid-palate, and a long, persistent aftertaste. It is a fabulous effort.

Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, blackberries, dark fruits, detailed, nuanced, layered, fruit forward, long finish. Beautiful.

 Dark purple colour with violet hue and black core. Exuberant yet persistent nose with freshness and purity, fine floral aroma reminiscent of violets and wisteria, ripe and elegant fruit, blackcurrants, blackberries, discreet hints of cardamom and vanilla. On the palate ripe and velvety tannins, rich fruit quoting the nose, hints refined fruit, excellent length, freshness and persistence.
