The Story

Written Notes

Château-bottled. The level was almost by the neck. Decanted one hour.A dark, opaque red fading gradually to a teak coloured rim. Rich and complex on the nose with a grand depth and aromas of spice, vegetal cassis and old oak. Fully flavoured, medium to full bodied and well balanced. An elegant but commanding wine with flavours of sweet fruit, cedar, coffee, spicy old oak and undertones of herbs, a silky texture, splendid concentration and a long, well balanced finish. The wine has been fully mature for over three decades already, but will still last another decade.
