Vintage after vintage, the wines of Château Palmer express our vision of an exceptional wine. We believe that it is born of the mysterious trilogy – terroir, history, memory – and all of our efforts are concentrated on bringing it into the world. Written Notes

Palmer - 45% Merlot, 51% C. Sauvignon and 4% P. Verdot. 14.4% alcohol. 22 hl/ha. Harvest lasted nearly a month, and the final assemblage was already concluded in November. This wine was a textbook Palmer in a great vintage. Fresh, violets and black fruit, pencil, tobacco leaves, concentrated, precise and vibrant, splendid midpalate, striking complexity, and great length. Sophisticated touch. Outstanding effort. 98p.

Ruby.Layered, deep, intense, blackberries, rich, fruit driven, scented, rich, floral, dark fruits nose. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, blackberries, dark fruits, layered, intense, detailed, energetic, the energy and acidity is just on a different level, if you keep this in your mouth, it just accellerates, long indeed.

  • 100p

Dark purple colour with violet hue and black core. Intense and expressive nose with aroma reminiscent of blackcurrants, blackberries, strawberry jam, violets and vanilla. Hints of gingerbread in the background. On the palate opulent yet refined with ripe tannins, juicy sweet fruit, elegant spiciness and fine floral hints in the background. Great elegance and precision.
