Written Notes

Bright yellow colour with green hue. Aromatic nose reminiscent of candied lemon zest, honey, pineapple and hints of white blossoms. On the palate luscious citrus fruit, mild acidity, well balanced with creamy texture and very good length.

Full bottle 1,230 g. Early release of a 2020! Made from Ch Suduiraut of Sauternes' younger vines, a blend of 54% Sémillon and 46% Sauvignon Blanc picked 25 August to 2 September. 25% was aged in oak barrels (30% new). TA 3.5 g/l.
Heady nose in which beeswax Sémillon dominates. Texture has a little hint of oaky creaminess. On the palate Sauvignon Blanc acidity and fruit make an impression. Definitely richer than a typical dry white from the Pessac-Léognan appellation nearby. Pretty smart. It may age longer than I suggest.
