Written Notes

From some of the older plantings in the Porongurup Ranges in the Great Southern, again it is free run juice only with the slow and cool ferment provided by stainless steel tanks. Indeed, anyone keen to see the impact of terroir on the Riesling grape could do worse than line up the Harewood Estate Range and taste through them. The differences are effectively purely from the sites. 

A pale yellow hue here. We have notes of spices, lemons and limes and more than a little flick of grapefruit over minerals. Wet stones and oystershell notes, there are appealing limey notes which also emerge on the palate, as does a lovely honeycomb touch, right on the finish. Good acidity and balance, this is very long and should drink beautifully for ten to fifteen years. 95.
