The Story

Paleo Rosso has been called Italy’s landmark expression of Cabernet Franc. Written Notes

Medium intense, ruby red colour. Open, floral nose with refined wild aromas, touch of white pepper, bellpepper, blackcurrants and violets. Rich medium-bodied palate shows vivid, racy fruit flavours with touch of crispy sour fruit character. Long and lingering finish is vibrant and spicy. Drinking well already, but will benefit from further cellaring another 3-5 years. Decant now for 2 hours and serve at 17-18C with rabbit ragout, saltimbocca alla romana and roasted duck. – JL 92p (11/2018)
