The Story
The vines on this steep 4 hectare vineyard are now 30-50 years old. At 260 metres, it's the highest of the three Weil hillside sites, yet thanks to its aspect and deeper, weathered slate soils, it also produces the supplest and most forward of these wines. The Weil team often uses the term 'baroque' when describing wines from the Klosterberg, referring to the wines overt exuberance.
