The nose is expressive, fragrant, and layered, opening with dried cranberries, wild strawberries, and blood orange zest, complemented by rich autolytic nuances of warm brioche, toasted almond, subtle sweet spice, and a distinct line of crushed chalk. On the palate, the wine delivers a vinous, highly precise entry with a fine, persistent mousse. Concentrated red berry fruit and tart cherry expand across the mid-palate, held tightly in check by a searing, mouthwatering vein of acidity that gives the wine vibrant focus. It concludes with an exceptionally long, dry, and savory finish marked by lingering red-apple skin and a mouthwatering saline lift.
