Written Notes

An exceptional vintage in Champagne: low yields, great concentration and a remarkably strong structure. This wine shows power and precision. Extremely fresh yet already opening beautifully and the nose shows aromas of apples, hazelnut, some smoke and wet chalk. On the palate, the wine is broad and vinous with precise acidity and pronounced mineral tension. Extended lees ageing brings depth and texture without heaviness. The finish is dry, saline and exceptionally long. A great grower Champagne where the power of Pinot Noir is in great control. Will reach its optimum in 10-12 years. – JL 90p (May 2026)
