Written Notes
Really early days for this sleeping beauty. Plump and oily, but rather incoherent up to now with a base full of apple and fine minerals. Two grammes of dosage. Now rich and full of harmony.
Pale lemon yellow, small bubbles. Apples, minerals, fresh and fruity nose, has some depth, ripe fruits. Fresh acidity, elegant mousse, lovely apples freshness, pure, detailed and elegant, long.
Familjen har länge ägt några hektar med mycket gamla chardonnaystockar i Cramant. Vid 1990 års skörd bestämde Pierre Larmandier sig för att göra en exklusiv champagne endast från dessa 80-åriga stockar. Resultatet är en champagne som kommer att bli legendarisk. Numera är hela vinifikationen biodynamisk.
TASTINGNOTE Supersnyggt och ultrasofistikerat från start. Kanske lite för mycket sten och banan när man närmar sig skönheten i dess ungdom. Ändå en omisskännlig krämighet och klassisk kvalitativ höjdarnivå rakt igenom hela upplevelsen.
