Chardonnay 2023 ($36) – More evidence, if it was ever needed, that this region is not a one-trick pony. Chardonnay can seriously impress from here. An attractive straw colour, there is good oak integration and the nose gives us notes of melon, hazelnuts, stonefruits, apricot pits, lemon curd and nuts. There is a supple texture here, with a lingering finish. A pleasant style, this is a wine of medium length. Enjoy over the next five years. 91.
