The Story

INNOVATION IN TRADITION

As the most precious jewels should be protected in the most beautiful cases, Alexandre Mea taught that the valuable heritage that his family passes from generation to generation was meant to be kept in an iconic bottle.

Written Notes

Enclosed in its signature handcrafted carbon fiber bottle, Champagne Carbon’s flagship Brut is a blend of 46% Chardonnay, 30% Pinot Noir, and 24% Pinot Meunier—sourced predominantly from Grand Cru and Premier Cru vineyards and vinified partially in oak barrels with extended lees aging.

The nose is expressive, modern, and invitingly complex, opening with yellow orchard fruit, ripe pear, and candied lemon peel, complemented by autolytic notes of toasted brioche, fresh hazelnut, subtle vanilla bean, and a stream of wet-chalk minerality. On the palate, the wine possesses a broad, vinous entry cushioned by an exceptionally fine, creamy mousse. A concentrated core of citrus zest and stone fruit expands across the mid-palate, held tightly in alignment by a bright, mouthwatering vein of acidity that cuts through the rich texture. It concludes on a long, dry, and balanced finish marked by lingering pomelo, toasted almond.

Light, green yellow colour. Pure and fresh nose shows apples and some pastry notes. Dry, crisp, fresh and firm palate with concentrated mineral mouthfeel and lingering lemony and apply finish. Vibrant and pristine. JL 94p (Oct 2021)

Floral, pepper and raspberry bouquet. Crunchy and lively in the mouth with red fruits, steely grip and a supple long finish. Good ageing potential.
