Ruby colour with garnet hue. Fine aroma reminiscent of mulberries, blackberries, sweet elderberries, black cherries and figs, fine floral hints reminiscent of violets and complemented by liquorice and mild spices, discreet toasting in the background. Refined character with a whiff of macchia. On the palate well balanced mild acidity, velvety tannins, red berries and mild spices, fine floral hints and red berries. A refined and layered wine with excellent length and subtle toasting in the aftertaste.
