History
La Maison Penet: not only an exceptional House but also the culmination of a 400 year heritage in Champagne. A place where wine connoisseurs and epicureans can experience the taste of rare Cuvées of exceptional character.
Our strong authenticity and exceptionally high quality standards are reflected in a range of zero or very low dosage Champagnes: an approach which makes us so unique.
Family-owned for five generations, Penet-Chardonnet is an independent, traditional estate that exclusively produces Champagne in the ultra-premium, 100% Grand Cru range.
The fully-owned 6-hectare vineyards stretch across the villages of Verzy and Verzenay, in the “Montagne de Reims”, an area celebrated for its top quality, Grand Cru, Pinot Noir grapes.
Growing vines in the Champagne region for over 400 years has allowed the Penet-Chardonnet family to perfect the art of truly exceptional Champagne making, focusing on Terroirs as opposed to “blending for consistency”. The outstanding quality of our wines allows us to be one of the rare specialists of zero or very low dosage Champagnes, while combining a high degree of authenticity and exclusivity.
We have lavished the utmost care and attention on our label design to bring a refinement and a sensuality that are the perfect match for our authentic and vibrant brand. Setting a new standard in luxury champagne.
