Written Notes

The history of the Chianti Classico in a blend of Sangiovese 80%, Merlot 15%, Cabernet Sauvignon 5%. The nose is multifaceted: raspberry and currant, then dried marjoram, closing of licorice touches. The mouth is crispy, the tannins iodized. The small red fruits notes reappearing in the aftertaste.  – Luca Gardini 92+p

Intense ruby colour with purple hue. Very elegant nose with balmy character, black cherries and dried figs, discreet hints of violets in the background, fine spices. On the palate well balanced with silky tannins, mild acidity, ripe fruit and discreet spiciness, well structured with good length and a certain tension in the finish.
