Another strike from Mazzei family. Fonterutoli territory never ceases to amaze, and that’s the peculiarity of a Chianti that is shaped by blending 90% Sangiovese, 5% Malvasia Nera and 5% Colorino. Small dark fruits, blueberry and blackberry, then marjoram, at the nose, iodized at the mouth, with spicy tannins and a fruity aftertaste. – Luca Gardini 97+p
Crimson colour with slightly violet hue. Elegant nose with fragrant fruit, ripe plums, mulberries and hints of black cherries and blossoms in the background. On the palate powerful with freshness, hints of mild spices, wonderful fruit, almost sweet tannins and elegant salinity. Exciting tension on the palate.
