Chateau Belair is now owned by the Moueix family, and has had a new name since the 2008 vintage. Medium deep colour. Sweet plum, raspberry aromas with savoury notes. Muscular wine with raspberry cola, herb flavours, dense but flowing tannins and long mineral cut. Super length. Time will bring elements together. 94 points

Dark purple red with violet hue and almost black centre. Aromatic nose with distinct fruit, discreet toasted flavours, elegant spicyness. On the palate good weight and length, fine acidity, firm but balanced tannins, quzit ecomplex appraoch.
