Tasted in October 2018. Strong wine, gobs of perfectly ripe black fruit, soil driven, splendid complexity, length and balance, great sweetness. Fabulous effort.
Dark purple red with violet hue and almost black core. Rich nose with multi-layered fruit and elegant spiciness, toasting aroma in the background. On the palate densely woven structure with ripe but intense tannins, complex aftertaste and excellent length.
Deep colour. Blackberry, dark cherry, brambly aromas. Juicy and dense with plush dark berry fruits, juicy richness and graphite slightly muscular texture. Quite extracted and elemental yet has drive and vinosity. 94 points
