Dark purple colour with violet hue and black core. Elegant yet slightly closed nose, opening up well, displaying an aroma reminiscent of black cherries, ripe plums and blueberries, hints of boysenberries in the background. Fine toasting, subtle oak, mild spices and a floral hint. On the palate well structured and balanced with ripe tannins, rich and juicy fruit quoting the nose, very convincing length. The best Château Fayat ever tasted en primeur.
