Tucked between châteaux Cos d'Estournel and Montrose, the vineyard covers 61 hectares (150 acres) and is planted with 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 40% Merlot, and 10% Cabernet Franc. Dark purple colour with violet hue and black core. Elegant nose with dark berries and hints of Lapsang-Souchong, a whiff of strawberries in the background. Vanilla and subtle oak. On the palate well structured with almost salty minerality, ripe tannins and fine acidity, very good length.
