Written Notes

A perfect claret for a simple Entrecôte with fries and Bearnaise sauce served at The Woseleys, London in Feb 24th. Everything was perfect other than poor wine glasses, which diluted the wine experience. Luckily the company was great and so was the atmosphere.

Ruby. Cassis, refreshing cherries, some floral notes over cassis. Scented. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, refreshing and long. With an hour or two in decanter a pleasure now, but can keep another fifteen years or more.
