Written Notes

Tasted in February 2022. Dense and tight, plenty of dark berries and fat tannin. Strong structure and backbone, creamy, splendid midpalate and long meaty finish. A significant improvement compared with tasting from the barrel. Textbook Fronsac wine of excellent quality.

  • 94p

Dark purple colour with violet hue and black core. Very intense and concentrated nose displaying aroma reminiscent of toasted oak, vanilla, ripe plums and juicy dark berries in the background. On the palate rich yet fresh with intense flavour of dark chocolate, ripe berries and hints of vanilla. Very good depth and length.
