Presented in the house's iconic carafe-shaped bottle modeled after 20th-century aristocracy decanters, this 2018 vintage Blanc de Blancs is crafted exclusively from 100% Grand and Premier Cru Chardonnay (sourced mainly from the Côte des Blancs and Trépail), capturing the ripe, radiant profile of the harvest.
The nose is opulent, highly aromatic, and elegant, bursting with Meyer lemon, white peach, and ripe yellow plum, complemented by luxurious autolytic notes of fresh butter croissant, toasted macadamia, acacia blossom, and a crisp, chalky mineral undercurrent. On the palate, the wine enters with a silky, mouth-coating texture and a delicate, creamy mousse. The generous mid-palate of sunny stone fruit and lemon curd is expertly balanced by a bright, refreshing beam of citrus acidity that keeps the generous 2018 fruit focused and lively.
