The Story
Merlot “La Maze”dark, almost shading into black, La Maze is a densely structured but elegant wine. Its rich scent of wild berries, plums and black cherries is scented with white pepper, juniper, green tea as well as smoky notes. This mineral-flavoured wine has a velvety but taut tannin structure and shows a beautiful red fruit acidity. La Maze is a Cru grown on a hilly terroir which lies around 270 m above sea level and consists of aged limestone with a clay-dominated topsoil. La Maze produces wine with high storage potential.
