Wine Description
The Story
Syrah “La Tarabelle” reflects the old Gaillac terroir with its sparse, high altitude locations perfectly. The ground consists of aged limestone with a very sandy und clay-containing topsoil, interspersed with many fist-sized stones. Syrah is known from the former Gaul since the 3rd century. It reveals an intense flavour reminiscent of mixed pepper, pencil lead and a potpourri of dark forest berries, bitter chocolate and coffee. Its tannins are fine and taut, its acidity refreshing. This wine has style, charisma and enormous storage potential.
